Back in June, a client contacted me about a small wedding they were planning out at the Ottawa Wedding Chapel. If you’ve never been, it’s this gorgeous little chapel out in Kenmore, Ontario — about a half hour from downtown Ottawa — nestled cozily along the main street. The exterior is this beautiful red brick, and the chapel interior was build from this dark wood and is accented by some amazing, stained glass fixtures.
We met in early afternoon for the ceremony. It was just the two of them — bride and groom — getting married on a casual Tuesday afternoon. There was something special about their chemistry and the intimacy of the wedding. Of course, there could’ve been a thousand people in that room; it wouldn’t have mattered. It was clear they only had eyes for each other, and that they were having the time of their lives.
After the ceremony, we took some images around the chapel before haeding outside. The Ottawa Wedding Chapel has some great setups around the back lawn: Bright yellow chairs and doors, a rustic-looking bicycle, as well as some flowers and planters. With the sun high in the sky, we mostly kept to shade, but we were able to get some fantastic and magical images to really capture that afternoon.
Enjoy the images, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’ve got questions, feedback, or to book a session!
